Helping Hands
Shelter Chritable Trust is a humanitarian organization working to create lasting changes in the lives of children, families and communities living in poverty. The world largest population of street children, lives in India which is estimated as 18 million. Statistics reveal that there are close to 17 million child labourers and about 3 to 5 lakhs children are forcibly engaged in prostitution, and other illegal acts.
Shelter Chritable Trust and its volunteers wish to rehabilitate these sections of children. Sponsoring a Child will surely spell hope in the life of a needy child by which a child can get access to education, health care, food and clean drinking water. Not just that, the sponsored child will have the chance and the courage to dream of a future that will truly be better than the present and will help the child experience life in all its fullness.
